The skills learned in orchestra - discipline, consistency, listening - carry over to every other subject. Learning to focus, early, while in elementary school, committing to doing something daily, listening not only to your teacher but to each other and yourself, will all help support every other thing you do in life. Plus - it's SO much fun. Orchestra is a winning team here in Los Alamos. Our top LAHS orchestra is one of the best groups in the State. It takes while though to get to that level - and that work starts now, in elementary school. Join orchestra and see for yourself!
